SON OF A...!
Is Boston just that good in the last inning?
Miguel Batista blew his first save of the season, against the Sox.
What're ya gonna do. Edgar Renteria steps up with his .130 batting average, he was more than due. So a two run single later, the Sox are up by one run, and Batista chalks up his first blown save.
His offense gave him some help in their half of the ninth to give him the win.
I think the only thing to do with the Sox is just get medieval on them, pile on as many runs as possible. Don't even give them a chance to get back in it.
Not that it matters this early in the season, but Toronto is the only team in the AL East over .500. Yanks, Orioles and the D-Rays are 3-3, the Sox, 2-4, ouch.
I'd love to see the Sox win only one game in all of their 3 game series, that would make my year!
